Both Men and Women are seen, family members are encouraged to join. In-person and Telephone/Video consultations are available. Consultations are typically 20 minutes in length but can be longer or shorter depending on circumstances.

All major insurers are accepted and fee-assured. Self-Pay fees are £300 for first consultation and £200 for follow-up.

Robotic Surgery for the Prostate (Radical Prostatectomy) is an intricate procedure only offered at select hospitals with high volume surgeons such as Mr Ameen. From his performance metrics of operative time, blood loss, positive margin rates and nerve preservation techniques Mr Ameen is in the top quartile of UK robotic prostate surgeons.

Robotic Nephrectomy for the Kidney (Radical Nephrectomy) is a technically demanding procedure which  mandates very careful dissection of the kidney away from major organs and the largest blood vessels in the body.

Robotic Reconstructive procedures such as pyeloplasty, to reshape the drainage system of the kidney and ureteric re-implant for ureteric strictures are best done robotically for rapid recovery and improved functional outcomes.

Mr Ameen offers local anaesthetic (awake) and general anaesthetic (asleep) circumcisions to men over the age of 16. Cosmesis and functional outcome care the main concern and patients are very happy with the healing and final result.

Mr Ameen offers a wide range of solutions to benign prostatic enlargement (BPE/ BPH) and utilises the latest technology such as aquablation (robotic water therapy) and rezum (steam therapy) alongside radiological techniques such as prostate embolisation and the gold standard method TURP (Trans Urethral Resection of Prostate).

Patient clinical, lifestyle, functional and operative factors guide the method of choice and joint decision making is paramount.

When men have completed their families, freedom from barrier contraception in men only leaves vasectomy as treatment of choice. It is performed as a local anaesthetic (awake) typically. A no scalpel technique can be utilised with a faster recovery.
